Traction

Across the Festival weekend, a variety of traction will be in action—hauling passengers, shuttling festival-goers between stations, and working our special Brewery Trains.

On Thursday, DMU 144011 will be in service, operating hourly shuttles and calling at every station along the line. You’ll be able to enjoy a couple of hand-pulled beers on the move, too!

For the main festival days, BR Standard 4 No. 75078 will be in steam, joined by a second steam locomotive to be confirmed.
Class 20 No. 20031 and Class 14 No. D9520 will also be in action, assisting on Friday and Saturday.
