Once a year, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway swaps sleepy stations and polite whistles for live music, barrel-loads of beer, and four days of festival madness across five glorious miles of heritage track.
Hop on and off vintage steam and diesel trains, explore each station’s delights, and soak up top-notch tunes in utterly unique venues—from engine sheds to station platforms.
Oxenhope shed: The Main stage for Pints
All aboard for the main festival bar at Oxenhope’s Exhibition Hall—our biggest station stop, and your starting signal for serious beer sampling. We’ll be pulling in with around 90 cask ales from up and down the country—everything from local legends to hop-forward head-turners.
You’ll also find some top-class railway regulars manning their own taps:
- Bridgehouse Brewery, always a crowd-pleaser and serving up a selection of cask-conditioned beers only.
- Goose Eye Brewery, a Worth Valley favourite, will have a selection of cask-conditioned beers only.
- Kirkstall Brewery from Leeds, pouring both cask and craft keg
- Brass Castle Brewery from Malton, rocking both cask and craft keg
Not Just for the Ale Enthusiasts
Beer not your thing? No need to change tracks—there’s plenty more on board:
- The Cider Bar at Oxenhope will showcase over 30 proper ciders from across the UK, including a wide range of still varieties served from Bag-in-Box – from traditional farmhouse styles to fruity flavoured favourites. You’ll also find crisp keg pours from Thatchers and Pulp – and more than a few that slip down far too easily!
- Wine & Gin Bar: Hosted by the fine folk at Martinez Wines of Ilkley, with a carefully selected line-up of reds, whites, rosés, prosecco, and artisan gins (for those feeling a little first class)
Going Low or No?
We’ve got you sorted too! The ‘Nunlow Bar’ (tucked between the cider and wine bars in the Oxenhope marquee) is back again this year, stocked full of low and no-alcohol options. Whether you’re the designated driver or just fancy a clear-headed crawl, we’re curating a small but mighty range of zero-proof treats to keep you in the festival spirit—minus the ABV.
Tickets for the shed: Know Before You Go
Want to join the party at Oxenhope on Friday or Saturday? Here’s what you’ll need:
🍻 Weekend Rover or Event Day Ticket – Includes everything, all the trains and entry to Ingrow & Oxenhope.
🎟️ Admission Only Ticket – Gets you into the action at Ingrow and Oxenhope, but doesn’t include train travel.
🎶 On Thursday and Sunday, entry to the Shed is free! Just grab a travel ticket if you fancy a ride on the rails.
Ingrow Station Yard: The Beer tent with Extra Buzz
Next stop: Ingrow, where the beer keeps flowing and the vibe’s just right. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we’re handing the taps over to some top-class breweries who’ll be setting up shop trackside to serve you their finest pours.
Here’s who’s pulling pints at Ingrow this year:
- Harrogate Brewing Co – classic ales with Yorkshire character
- Amity Brew Co from Greengates– modern craft with serious style
- Meanwood Brewery – Leeds-based and full of bold, creative brews
- Wishbone Brewery – our Keighley neighbours with a loyal local following
- Round Corner Brewing – coming all the way from Melton Mowbray, bringing the Midlands magic
You’ll find around 30 cracking beers on offer—both cask and craft keg—so there’s plenty to sip while the trains roll by and the tunes drift down the platform.
Tickets for Ingrow: Know Before You Go
To join the fun at Ingrow on Friday or Saturday, you’ll need one of the following:
- A Weekend Rover or Event Day Ticket (includes train travel too)
- Or an Admission Only Ticket, which gets you into Ingrow and Oxenhope… just not on the trains
So if you’re planning a few pints without hopping carriages, the Admission Only ticket’s your best bet. But if you’re looking to ride the rails between beers, you’ll want the full Rover experience.
Keighley Station: Pints, Plates & platforms
Right in the heart of the line, Keighley Station is your perfect pit stop for a bite, a bevvy, or a bit of both.
All weekend long, the Old Parcels Office will be open for business—serving up tasty food and a proper festival bar to keep your energy (and pint) levels topped up. On Friday & Saturday, the mighty Bingley Brewery will be running the taps, pouring their top-notch beers brewed just down the Aire Valley. Expect flavour, character, and more than a hint of Yorkshire pride in every glass.
Swing by between trains, refuel, and raise a glass before your next musical or malty adventure.
Bars on Board: Pints with a View
Why wait ‘til the next station when you can grab a pint on the move?
Most trains running across the weekend will be rocking their own onboard bars—because nothing says “heritage railway” like sipping a proper pint while steaming through the Worth Valley.
Look out for our two headliner services running on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.:
- 🚂 The Flying Landlord – Featuring the Railway’s Jubilee Bar Car, fully stocked with legendary local brews from Timothy Taylor’s of Keighley. Smooth, crisp, and perfectly paired with scenic countryside.
- 🚂 The Ossett Brewery Express – Our second named service, proudly pouring beers from Ossett Brewery on the move, courtesy of our classic real ale bar setup.
So whether you’re heading uphill to Oxenhope or coasting back to Keighley, you’ll never be more than a few feet from your next top-notch pint.
